Kiwanis International Trustee

Chuck Fletcher of Frankfort, Kentucky, USA, was elected to a three-year term as trustee of Kiwanis International. He was elected during a Kiwanis International Council meeting held in lieu of the annual Kiwanis International convention and will serve as a trustee for the United States and Pacific Canada regions of Kiwanis. 

A member of Kiwanis for 14 years, Chuck is a member, past club vice president and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Frankfort. He has also served the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Kiwanis as governor and lieutenant governor. During his time as lieutenant governor, Chuck served with distinction and helped open new clubs during the 2015-16 Kiwanis year.    

Within Kiwanis, he has received numerous awards and honors, including the George F. Hixson Fellowship and Walter Zeller Fellowship. He has served as a club builder and club counselor and is a supporter of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund.   

Chuck is excited to work with people to make a difference and plans to work with Kiwanis International board members and staff to make Kiwanis strong all over the world.

Outside of Kiwanis, Chuck is a member of the Franklin County school board and the Frankfort Regional Medical Center board. He is also active in the Capital City Retired Teachers’ Association and is a member of the Kentucky School Boards Association and the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. In addition, he is a former Frankfort city commissioner.   

Chuck holds a master’s degree in education and has one child and four grandchildren.
