Sikora & Moore

Joe Sikora began his career in the Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area as a claims handler at a small insurance agency.  From there, he progressed to several large insurance Brokerage Houses and carriers including Johnson & Higgins, Marsh, AIG and Chubb.

His career has been strictly focused on personal lines coverage and he has extensive experience in the “High Net Worth” area where he managed many well-known, high-profile families.

In 2003, tired of the cold weather and winter, Joe and his wife, Shirley decided to move to Florida.  He accepted an outside sales position with Oswald Trippe & Company, who eventually merged with BB&T Insurance Services.  In 2015, the opportunity developed for Joe and Shirley to open their own firm called Sikora & Moore Insurance, PLLC.  Between the two of them, they possess over 70 years of personal insurance experience. 

Joe holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation and was named the Five Star Home/Auto Insurance Professional from Sarasota Magazine in 2012 & 2015.
