February Board of Directors Meeting

Last night, the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club and Foundation Board of Directors had a productive meeting.

Club BofD

  • Due to the craziness of this year, Patty Casey, President-Elect, and Joseph Meyer, Present, have proposed that Joe serve a two-year term.  This would enable Patty and the other officers more time to get orientated. 
  • The Board unanimously approved Christine Aston as a new member.  Christine works at the library and finally succumbed to Joe's nagging.  LOL
  • The Board will be revisiting the major themes of the Strategic Plan each meeting to make sure all of our projects and funding are going toward our goals. 

Foundation BofD

  • The Board agreed to increase funding for DCON for Braden River and Lakewood Ranch Key Clubs to $800.
  • The Club will be sponsoring a soccer clinic in partnership with the Latin Chamber of Commerce
