January Board of Directors Meeting

Last night, the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club and Foundation Board of Directors have a very busy meeting.

Some highlights from the meetings include:

The monthly Board meetings will move to the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at Gecko's on Clark Road and virtually. All are welcome.
5 new club members were voted in pending the payment of their dues. We would like to welcome Susan Wren, Amanda Moyer, Rebecca Marchino, Bonnie Eskell, and Rebecca Forero. Look for more information about our new members in our New Member Spotlight coming soon on our Website.
The board unanimously voted to welcome the members of the Manasota Kiwanis Club as a satellite evening club. As part of that we would like to welcome Constance Starkovus, Debra McNulty, Cathy Laird, Kristen Malek, Jeff Fite, Todd Blackwell, and Nicole Williams.
We would like to announce the appointment of Michelle Rhea as 1st Vice-President and Sherri Urfer as 2nd Vice-President of the Club effective February 1, 2021.
Our Club will be a co-sponsor of the drive-through book fair being organized by the Early Learning Coalition. More information to come.

Our Golf Ball Drop will be 100% virtual to be safe. One the day of the event, there will be a animated golf ball drop to identify the winners. The team that sells the most golf balls win a prize as well. More info to come on our Website.
Starting next week, we will be starting a virtual popcorn fundraiser. More info to follow on the Website.
Sarasota Farmers Market has offered a free booth for us each week to advertise, fundraise, etc. We hope to have our Key Clubs man this. We are looking for a member to chair this effort. It will be a logistics position. Please contact Joe.
This year we will be manning the concession stand for 17 games of the Atlanta Braves. More information to come from Joe as the dates get closer.
